Default Getting new tires today!

Finally getting rid of the stock Goodyear SR-As with 12,500 miles on them. The shop is giving me $110 a piece for them. l'm Putting on BFG all terrain TAs in 275/70/18's. Doing the spare too ( makes me feel better about driving on it if the need arises) Went just big enough so that I don't need a level, as I'd like to keep some resemblance if decent mileage for a truck. I'm hoping these are a bit better in the mud and snow/ice. I'll post pics once they are on.

Never really looked that close under there, but be sure the spare will fit before you do it. Probably will.

I know even the Super Dutys that have 20" wheels come with an 18" spare.

Yup, I thought of that. I measured and it should fit fine. Plus the Raptor has a 34" spare, and it fits. I'm not sure the mounting locations are the same though.

Here's the before and after pics. They sure ride a lot rougher, but grip & look 10x better. Hopefully now this winter I'll be the one pulling my buddies out, and not vice versa. Can't wait to try them out hunting tomorrow.

It's awesome.

Said it many times; Tires, and wheels and tires, completely change the look of a truck

Truck look's great...I don't know what psi you're running but I'd try 42 to 44psi for daily driving. Not uncommon to get 60 to 70K miles out of the TA/KO's.

Love'em I have the same on my truck, same color same rims. I just don't have the Eco badge as mine is the 010 fx4 so I have the 5.4. I have mine at 50 right now and think it a little high.

I'm interested in the same size/tire without doing any suspension modifications. If you don't mind me asking, how was your MPG affected if any?
