Ive had both Rhino and lineX I like the Rhino for stuff not moving around on it however it does have to be repaired from time to time (Warranty) It has a tendancy to tear with a heavy sharp item in the bed. The line X will just scratch a lil. I guess im a lil **** about my dog It can be 100 degrees outside and the Line x doesnt get hot at all. I can lay my hand on it when I cannot even touch my black truck

I asked around online and googled "rhino vs LineX" and "Gatorhyde vs. LineX" and it took me to a number of different sites and forums that discussed this topic.
One point that was repeated and moaned about the most was the fact that Rhino will fade over time (most people said that it took 2+ years to fade (they all had the black color). I remember one post said that she/he had LineX and after a few years needed to have some added somewhere, and the colors were a close match as the LineX didn't fade. So consider fading with the Rhino.
I just made the choice to go with Gatorhyde which is supposed to be like the LineX. It became part of the purchase package of our new '09 screw which we will pick up today in ...... 5 hours and 20 minutes!

I have Pro Coat and i have been very happy with it. its not too rough and doesnt skin you up when your moving in and out of it. It also only took about 5 hours to do it and dry.

I had the LineX spayed in this morning at my local shop.
It came out perfect and I think the textured black finish complements my Sterling Gray painted truck very well.
It took them about 3.5 hours, start to finish, including removing the bed bolts and tie-downs.
They had just replaced their LineX material spray machine, so I was the first on to have the application with the new pumping/spray rig.
Not only does the material protect from scratching and rust, it gives a nice 'finished' look for a new or newer truck.
