Towards the bottom left of the NAV screen there is a speed limit sign that displays the speed limit for the road you are traveling down. Mine has always been VERY acturate, down to the very inch I cross a sign that the speed limit changes.

This weekend I noticed when traveling on I49 with a posted speed limit of 75MPH the NAV screen would only display the speed limit as 74MPH. Has anybody ever noticed this or know why it will only display a max of 74MPH?

Same symptom is present on mine. I can't recollect it ever displaying a higher speed than 74 mph, even though the posted speed limit is higher.

Pretty sure mine still says 70 on I-49, so you've got me beat there.

I wonder what it would show on I-25 in WY where the speed limit is 80mph?

I noticed the same thing on IH 20 west of Ft Worth, and between Terrell and
Waskom, TX, (state line)

Wow I don't recall mine showing the posted speed limits. Probably just wasn't paying enough attention.

The speed limit data is from your map data set, my 2011 only shows the speed limit if it is in the navigate mode. Texas has been upgrading speed limits all over the state so I notice a bunch of errors.

I took a trip to the camp a couple weeks ago and now the truck reads 75mph. I have updated to Fords newest map card though.

I have noticed mine not showing the accurate speed on a couple of local roads.
