Default Special "state" edition F150's

Down here in Texas you can get a Texas Edition F150. Well you can get a Texas Edition Chevy and Dodge, and I think Toyota and Nissan too. It's got chrome and 20'' wheels, and "Texas Edition" badging, and maybe a few other do dads, not really that big of a deal.

Is this just a Texas thing? Or can you get it out of Texas?
Does your state offer a special edition? Or something you can't get anywhere else but where you live?
And how about our friends north of the U.S. border, what kind of special editions are up there? Remember all the cool old trucks in Canada were Mercury M100's instead of Ford F100's?

It's funny, you can buy a California Special Mustang here.

I would buy a Northwest Edition or Pacific Northwest Edition truck if it had some useful options or features. I am not interested in paying extra for features I won't use or wouldn't buy aftermarket.
A bed that had storage compartments built into the sides would be cool.
A built in or hide away winch that had built-in dash controls would be cool too. A recovery kit would be stored in the bed side(s) along with an ax, shovel, hatchet, flares, fire starters, rescue blankets, first aid kit, nice jack, compressor, etc.

I believe the California Mustangs you refer to are a whole North America wide thing.

I think so too, I guess that's why they are California Specials and not California Editions

I know that Ford has (or at least had) Oklahoma editions as well. I used to live in Witchita Falls and we would get the Okie dealership commercials on tv. The even had the slogan as "Ford is the best in Oklahoma." Kinda weird sounding for someone who had heard nothing but "Ford is the best in Texas" all of their life. lol
