The speakers in the rear doors are the same as the front - 6x8. Since I'm older and don't hear as well as I used to I just installed some Kenwood KFC-P680C 6x8 2 way plate speakers all the way around. Got them on sale for $89 a pair from online car stereo and they sound better than stock - to me anyways.

The speakers are the same size, but the rear doors are not as deep as the front doors, so in some cases, a 6x8 that fits in the front, may not fit in the back. The vehicle fit tool on Crutchfield's web site knows this and can tell you if a speaker won't fit the rear.

Just put 4 Polk DXi 570 (5x7) in yesterday. 2 front, 2 back. Sounds much better than stock. Very easy. Got em on sale from Crutchfield.

did a nice budget system for under 1k with some thrifty shopping. everything brand new..

alpine 5 channel amp. 100x4 and 300x1
type r speakers front/rear. 5x7 iirc, oem replacements. even shallower then oem speakers
type r 8" sub in custom box
wiring
jl audio clean sweep

spent right around 900 for it and installed myself. VERY clean sound, don't let the small sub fool you either. super tight and clear bass, hits surprisingly hard.

Default They are the same 6x8" front and Back

I checked Crutchfields site and it shows front and back are same size....so Im getting Infifnty 8602 to match the front one's and 2 alpine amps 300 4 channel and 500 mono. I Order a Custom sub 12 MTX and dam thing came damaged in the box so now have to wait, and my dealer is sending it back and going to up grade it for me for no extra cost, or discount it on the new one that has to be re-ordered. I find out Monday so I can't wait its the last thing to get done for this year. Ive always have a amppied stereo, so this stock just won't do!!......
