I wouldn't use it on anything that WASNT dark plastic. Not on clear plastic at all.

Idk if it would hurt it, but I wouldnt risk a $500 fix on it tho.

I wouldn't use it for lights unless my headlights are totaled

Just curious if it would work on the headlights as well as it did on the other parts of his vehicle. I was in autozone earlier this week and overheard a woman asking for something to restore her headlights and instantly thought of this stuff and wondered if it would work.

I'm not sure. My headlights are still like new, so I have no need to try.

Funny this thread popped up again. Had a chance to wash my truck at work(really slow today), and had to leave it inside for awhile. Bad to go out in negative temps after a wash, doors will freeze shut, haha! Here's a pic of the grill and mirror.

Good deal, I've seen the informercials and wrote the stuff off as being like the slap-chop or shamwow. But one of my pet peeves is faded trim so I really wanted it to work. Now I'll have to scare some up and give it a go.

Thanks! Did that awhile ago(1-2 years)! Only did the nose, haha! Haven't had the time to do the rest, had a kid and all. They take up some time, lol.

Some pointers... I didn't even use the whole bottle. I still have enough to do my wife's escape. I used it sparingly, and wiped the Hell out of each piece of black trim. Maybe that's why I have no streaking, IDK. All I can say is, I did not wipe it like they do on the commercials. I think they wipe it for like 2 seconds. Maybe that's where I went right, and many go wrong. I'm not sure.

Dude I bet! Haha I flirted with the idea of sanding it all smooth and then shooting a nice euro clear all over it to remove all that peel.. and add some more gloss! But I doubt I ever will.

And yeah in the commercials it looks like they just do a single pass, multi direction. Sounds like u did multiple passes? Did u go in every direction or in one? What did u use as an applicator?

Thanks, mb! This kind of review means more than any commercial. I've never heard of the stuff, but now, I'll have to try it!

Re clearing over sanded clear is my favorite thing to do. It always looks amazing. The wet on wet process and the high bake temps the factory uses, give brutal orange peel. Some are better than others.

The package came with mini microfiber cloths. That's what I used. Yeah I just wiped until it looked even, and was careful not to get it on the paint.
