Remote Start BT4Z-19G364-A or BB5Z-19G364-C
Can I use BT4Z-19G364-A in my 2013 STX?
If so what is the difference between this and the BB5Z-19G364-C other the $42 in price.
Thanks,

Only a couple of things,, the one lights to confirm and other (C) lights and beeps to confirm it started and the (c) has an additional security feature that includes sensors that when the truck is moved, nudged or broken into it will alert your key fob!

so does the motion sensor only work when the Remote Start is used, or is it "always on" like a normal alarm system?
Thanks for the quick reply!

The sensor is always on whenever you lock the truck.
The system is plug and play if you have the 100 series right now, and the bi-directional remote start will work right away. I am having a bitch of a time getting the security features setup. Had to break down and book an appointment, there is no info online on getting it working.

as stated above, it works all the time when the doors are locked so if you like the added security and knowing someone is messing with you truck it is a nice feature and probably well worth the added bucks. I think you were on an other thread about the 100 series so I assume you don't have the 100 series installed. You could do two things,.,, search the internet and get the best price and install it yourself and then take it to the dealer to have it activated or go to Ford accessories and put in your zip code. Put the one you want in the cart and then go to check out. There you may find the dealer in your area that will provide the price for the unit installed! Just make sure it says installed. I remember when I did it the part was about 250 (100 series) and installed was 283.00... so if they charge you 30 to 40 bucks to install it and program it that may be better than getting it yourself, installing it and finding out they want 90 bucks to program it. Check it out and then call them up and see if you buy it and install it what will they charge!

BTW if you go the way I suggested and get it through Ford and have them install it another nice feature is they will carry the 36000 three year warranty on the unit too!!!

Correct, i do not have any remote start installed and they quoted me $440 for the 100 series installed. Liberty in Brunswick is a large dealership and they were kind of busy so i didn't want to **** anyone off including myself by asking too many questions. That is a great idea about using Ford online to get installed pricing!
