***It is not pre wired.*** I bought a amp to power it and wired it up. I soon ditched it for something better.

Look Into the sound ordinance powered subs. There are 250watts. I installed 2 behind my rear seat and they sound pretty good. Plus I can still flip my seats up and in the back and use the entire floor space. As other have said the sony system isn't so great. I picked up the two subs for $90 on ebay used.
