i can tell you from my experience with a eco i have noticed absolutely no changes since installing the lower grille i posted.

This^^ my state only requires a rear tag so that gap was empty when I bought the truck. I've since taken care of the void.

Cheapest ecoboost swap I've done. If I'd have kept my center plate mount I'd mail it to you for free.

The dealership wanted $18 plus tax for a license plate holder... I can get one on eBay for $10...

Personally I don't like the side mounted license plate. Modified my plate holder and then added a lower grille.
