Default Someone smashed my truck

So I am parked at work. It has been snowing most of the day. I go out to start my truck and sweep it off to find tire marks up to the front of my truck. Upon closer inspection I find that someone has smashed into the front of my truck. Hit the bumper and twisted it, broke the plastic and clad ratchets the body color bumper pad between the grille and the chrome. To make matters word it was the guy that works for me. He didn't even say anything till I asked him the following morning. SOB. Now I get to find out what this is going to cost to fix. Talk about frustration!!!!!!!

He works FOR you? He didn't mention anything? That's a clear sign of his character.

Step 1 - I would be looking for another employee to replace him
Step 2 - I have no idea how insurance works up in Canada if you have no fault or not... so my advice really stops at step 1.

Shouldn't cost you anything. Has the guy not agreed to pay for it?

He was probably scared he would get in trouble. comments like 'fire him' won't help. employees need to know they won't be reprimanded.

Hey, at least you know who did it and they did end up admitting it. While it sucks it is better than a hit and run...

He referred to his employee as an SOB... sounds like he isn't the most approachable boss.

He referred to someone who smashed his truck and tried to hide it as SOB. If someone does that to you, you can call him whatever you want.
