Default Someone Hit my Parked Truck!

Parked my truck at my girlfriends appt complex while I went to the beach for the weekend and someone ran in to it Of coarse they didn't leave a note and were even nice enough to steal the license place and black piece they knocked off the front.

I don't have the money to get the bumper repainted right now but I am going to buff out whatever I can and replace the front black plastic piece.

However, I can't find anyone online to order that black plastic bumper pad. I've attached a picture so you all know what I am talking about. Any ideas?

Thanks!

I'd see about a new license plate posthaste. It isn't uncommon for people to steal plates to use them for various things, such as a way to deal with speed cameras, or actually use them for a getaway car.

Bummer. My first week with the new truck, someone slammed their door into my pass door leaver a pretty good crease. Like you, no note or other info. The very next week someone got into my tailgate. No note, etc, etc.

On the off chance they were just trying to be inconspicuous, did you check the bushes and garbage collection areas close to your vehicle/apartment complex? Odds are you'd find the parts and plate.

waterman, there are low lifes everywhere, check with your insurance carrier. The damage may be covered by the comprehensive section of your policy. No deductible, or insurance increase if filed under comp. At least that's the way it is here in North Carolina. Good luck.
