You've got to have the right lighting and distance from the truck to appreciate the graphics. Close up shots don't look so good.

When I build an appearance package on line the middle arm rest appears in the rear seats. So is this a glitch or the truck shown here a preproduction that didnt get them yet?

Yeah, I noticed that discrepancy too but don't know the answer.

This was definitely a pre-production truck. The window sticker was pretty much blank without details, pricing or fuel econ data. The serial # portion of the VIN was A00008 so it's obviously a very early build.

DAMN IT I love those wheels. I like those satin black running boards also. Overall I'm lovin the exterior, hating the interior Maybe if I see it in person.

Withholding judgement till I see it on a color other than black. Almost everything in the package is black, let's see it on a white, siver, red or blue and then I'll form an opinion.

Thanks for the photos, this has definitely convinced me not to get the package and simply get some after market black rims. I don't think i could live with those seats.

I was up the air between a Race Red FX2 w/ Appearance Package and a Race Red Lariat. At the last minute I went with the Lariat because I was scared of making a $45,000 mistake since I couldn't see what I wanted in person.

I really like the black dash/console trim, the shiny grille, and the emblems, but the rest of the appearance package I could live without.

Just noticed that the ford.com site shows computer generated pictures with the strips during the build and price for all the colours. I am Canadian so dont use this site, ford.ca doesnt show it.

I think the strip might look good on the shades white-black, the blues and reds not so much. Only time will tell I guess.

I agree with you about the stripe on the reds and blues. It might look good on the silver and grey as well as black and white.
