So where are all the white 2009-2014 trucks?

Keeping it in 2nd or 3rd gear with tow/haul on, has that throw you back into the seat power around 3/3500 rpm's and combined with that engine roar! Man it makes me smile every time.
Rumour has it, the 395 HP 2018 sounds even better. It's going to take a lot of will power to give up this truck for an 2018.
I love everything about my 2014 FX4 right now. It does everything perfect, but 395 horse's connected to a 10 speed.. That is tempting!
Probably till I look at the sticker and have a coronary.

I picked up my XLT earlier this year and had to settle for a Supercab since I needed a 6.5' bed

I too refuse to have anything less than a 6.5' bed, but have made up my mind that the next truck WILL BE a crew cab. I live in a VERY yuppified central MD and finding a truck like that is very rare. However 2 hours away in South-central PA where my mom lives is a different story. Not that long ago, the wife and I were going to visit my mother and I was explaining that even though I don't plan to buy a truck for another year or so, the truck I want is hard to find so I am already searching for said truck now. While explaining to her the reason why it's so hard to find, I happen to see one and point it out to her. And then another one, and another one. And then she starting seeing them too and pointing them out to me. I'm not BS'ing you, in a matter of 20-25 minutes riding around in the rinky-dink town near my moms we saw no less than 10 11th & 12th gen s-crew 6.5' trucks. Then 2 weeks ago, we were taking a road trip to extreme Western MD to the resort area a Deep Creek lake and the very rural areas of MD and WV that surround it. Yet again, once you got away from the yuppie-filled resort areas, the s-crew/6.5's came out of the woodwork and are everywhere and she was noticing them.
AND THEN SHE SAID IT
"tell me again how rare these trucks are, and why you need to be looking for another truck so soon?"
Then I had to tell her that the truck I want is a unicorn
not only am I looking for a Screw/6.5, I want a Lariat or higher trim, and the kicker, I want a 6.2L. She still doesn't get it, but oh well.

if I coukd have found one with a 6.2L I'd be in heaven. However, with the towing and stuff I do, the 5.0 is a great motor and will last a long time. Plus, after a tune itll be like I have a 6.2L ;-)
