Default So... Traction control really does suck

Went out to the beach finaly... Disabled traction control an advance trac... Locked the rear diff an proceeded to floor it... Damn thing rev limits early barely does anything cuts a doughnut rev limited at like 4k... What gives? Is there anything short of pulling fuse 36 an losing 4 low and my locker?

Nope, that's it, pull the fuse. The only complaint I have about my truck. My 13 Expedition is no where near as sensitive as my truck.

Hold the traction control button for 5-10 seconds an then in the dash it will say advanced trac off then you can enjoy a lil more spirited driving it still won't let you do doughnuts but you can throw it around a lil more

Not really sure what the problem is. In my 13' if I hold the TC button for 5-10 seconds, which turns off the advanced trac, it doesn't limit me at all.

When I disable the traction control and advance trac in my 2013, it still activates some kind of control which really caused a lot of problems in the snow/ice we've had in Atlanta in the past month.

It sounds like traction control works great then.

i think even if you disable "all" traction control, it still kicks back in over 35mph (or kph), cant remember...

Maybe it's something to do with being 4wd? My truck has zero traction control at all when I hold the button down and disable advancetrac. Had a lot of fun recently with all the ice and snow.

In my 2010, hold and it disables and I can do doughnuts for days unless wheel speed hits 35 but that's never happened. Works in sand and snow!
