Might sound crazy but when I turn my TC off with the SCT tune it seems like it really turns it off. Different than no tune and hitting the button. I take the odd icy corner sideways in my FX4 if my wife asks me if the streets are slick. Best way to find out is test the waters when you're going slow.

You can get custom tunes and disable traction control with the tune with MPT thats what I did shifts better too
