Time for some Snow donuts...

Nice, always like seeing snow. Lots of people don’t like badges I get it. In the snow we have had this year I’ve noticed the following of my two vehicles on the drive:
4WD 13’ F-150 Platinum 6.2L Boss/ 3.55s
4WD 07’ Expedition 5.4L 3V Triton/ 3.73s
The Expedition is noticeably more planted in the snow and imo easier to control. Esp coming off a stop, my 150 is quick to light the tires up....prob a combination of the big engine and no weight over the rear doesn’t help it’s case. In contrast the expy will spin if you gas it but it seems to me like the traction control acts faster and more aggressively. In 4x4 they both work well, but I still have to give the edge in performance to my Expedition.....I’m thinking it’s the curb weight (approx. 6,000 pounds).

I've found crew cabs with a little more weight to the rear do better in snow than regular cabs. And SUV's as a rule do better than trucks because the weight is more evenly distributed. A 1991 Cherokee I used to own was the best snow vehicle I've ever driven. Of course adding a cap to a truck puts some weight on the back and helps too.
Was in a fair amount in Colorado in November. More than a foot deep over 10,000'

Took mine out to try out the new tires, figured I detailed it the week we get a foot of snow. Not many days in the 60’s in Jan, didn’t think 3 days later we would have a foot of snow, but made for a nice picture.

How's she goin' eh?
I drive a city bus, snow days aren’t in my vocabulary. It would be nice if it was. My ranger with a set of duras was amazing in the snow. Second gear and 4lo it was amazing.
