Default Small Collision 2013 F150 v. 2006 Murano

Hello:

Last night I collided with a 2013 Ford F150 and left minor damage. Could someone determine which part I hit and about how much it will cost to pop it out or replace it. I have a link to the photo below.

Thank you for the help!

Bad news is that you hit a 2015 and up, which have aluminum beds, which are a little bit more expensive to fix than older models. I don't know the work involved in it, but it depends on if the owner is going to want it repainted after the dents are removed, which he is probably going to want.

What you hit was the bottom of the bed which isn't a replaceable part. It needs body work to get it back to factory

I am not sure what I am looking at. Were you at fault and have no insurance?

Looks like the bottom corner of the driver side bed right in front of the rear bumper. That brake light indicated a 13th gen

Thank you everyone. Yeah my bad it is a 2016. So if anyone knows how much it'll cost to press it out and repaint it please let me know. I have insurance and am at fault.

I think you'll find the cost to be such that you'd be better off letting the insurance pay for it.

The thing that threw me off is he said it was a 2013 which by the pic it isn't.

He is taking it to the insurance company today to have it looked at. I am anxious to know the cost.

I am pretty impressed that someone would own up to something like this and do the research into what is involved in fixing it. Good on you Shane and I hope good things come your way in the future.

Depends on whether they replace the bed corner or the whole side, my friends was backed into at the local Home Depot got his bumper and pushed it into the same area and they did the whole bedside that was about $1000 before labor to remove and replace and paint.
