I use these on my chrome capped mirrors. I think the chrome is just paint since the part is plastic. I wash the mirror caps before I slip them on and all is well. I did forget to wash once so there are a couple scratches but no more scratches have appeared.

My **** mirrors do have a cutout for the turn signals but do not have one for the reflectors. That MAY be why **** says they're not compatible. I don't know. But other than that they work just fine on my SCrew. My mirrors are not painted.

I use the **** on my Plat. I usually put a paper towel between the addition and the mirror just in case it could scratch the chrome cap. I've never had an issue.

I bought and tried a set from "LongView". Waste of time and $$$. Drivers side just fit on, the top had a gap, covers signals and reflector!

PASSENGER SIDE WOULD NOT EVEN GO ON!! has a J hook that hooks on the inside part of mirror and hold the back of the cover onto the trucks mirror. it didn't line up. Almost like it was ment for the 04-08 models yet it says on the box 2009-2013 models.

I have these for my '12 F150, and they are great! They look like OEM when they are installed. I got them from etrailer as well. They had them shipped to me in Alberta in 4 DAYS, which is crazy fast for getting a product out of the US.

I do take them off when I get to my destination though, as the strips of foam tape stick to my mirror caps if I leave them on too long (several days).

They also have a cutout for the puddle lights, if you have them in your mirrors.

I like the look of those mirrors and I am thinking about ordering them...couple of questions? Will they work with power fold mirrors and do they mark the painted mirror caps?

Thanks!

I replaced my **** with these and they are much better and they work with my power fold mirrors.

They do leave a mark from the foam tape on my chrome cap mirrors, but it wipes right off.
