Do the skids also fit 2wd's? I've been trying to find a good skid plate for my truck, it just seems like everything is marked 4x4 only.

These skid plates will fit 2wd trucks! Only the 09+ models though.

Hey everyone I have an overstock of standard front plates for the 09-13 and need to clear some space immediately so I am going to run a special coupon for 24 hours only that will get you 35% off one of these!!! Type in the code F150Front at checkout to get the discount and remember this is for the standard front plate only and does not apply to any other plate.

Default Pics of my RCI Metalworks Plates and Stock Comparison

Here's a couple of looks at the RCI metalworks skidplates on my 2013 FX4 EcoBoost.

Also....take a look at the comparison pic: Stock vs RCI Metalworks. LOTS more protection.....and...um...we can ALL use more protection

Curt makes a skid plate that can be inserted into a hitch receiver the problem with that design is its small. What are the chances of you guys building on this removable skid plate idea but bigger? I do travel off the beat and path occasionally and avoid the rough stuff. By having this skid plate inserted in your front hitch receiver you would have added protection and early warning if you have a clearance issue. I would not expect it to allow me to skid over a boulder; I would stop. The nice thing about this design is its removable when not in use.

What I would like to see is 20” wide and the length of the plate on the angle 8”.What are the chances of getting something like this built ? Are we looking at big CDN bucks?

Is there a full front option for the 04-08, and are these skid plates any different than a regular ProComp skid plate?
