Full set in steel of front three is just shy of 100lbs in steel and half that for aluminum.

Sorry for my ignorance, but what is the difference between the Standard and the Full Front? What all does the Full protect that the Standard does not?

The full front extends up to the frame horns and bolts there as well, while the standard front has similar coverage to the factory skid plate (though 10 times sturdier) Basically the full front protects the intercooler if you have an ecoboost, or the front of the motor on the other models.

Both are great options, but most who choose the full front do so more for appearance than anything else. The Standard front protects the major components which are the EPAS steering unit, and Front Differential.

Standard ( New standard plates are slightly revised but look very similar)

You do realize that if you go to their website they have a section for 04-08 F150's, right? http://www.rcimetalworks.com/04-08-F-150_c5.htm

Is there a difference in 'protectiveness' between the steel and aluminum plates? Seems like the aluminum wouldn't be as effective but I don't really know about skid plates. Also, just figured out now that for some reason my 2012 FX4 did NOT come with skid plates. Not cool. I suspect the dealer swapped them out after they took delivery and put them on another vehicle. Not cool.

Note: After looking through my emails I found an email I had sent to the salesperson about removing them because I had planned on buying aftermarket ones any ways. Forgot about that.

I have one bare Aluminum standard plate exactly like the one pictured above for sale right now for $145 plus shipping. It may have some minor cosmetic scratches on the backside of the plate if I remember correctly, which of course will never be seen.

Pm me for an invoice.

EDIT: I actually had two of these available so there is still one left!
