Sirius is expired but still works
I thought I saw this subject on here before but I can't find it now. My free 6 months expired in February and I checked shortly after it expired and it comes up "Subscription required" or something lake that when I tuned to it. I've been on the road a lot lately and was considering signing up for it again because when you get in some rural areas you don't have a lot of choices. So just for the heck of it I hit the button, channel 1, subscription required, button 2nd time, I have channels, button 3rd time, subscription required. So I go back to Siruis 2 and it works, I have all the channels. Been that way for a few days now, hope it stays.

Was a promo for Memorial Day week, runs FREE thru 6/3/2013. They do these promos every so often. I have an old XM Radio reciever that I cancelled years ago that fits in an XM boom box and it works when they do this. They send the signal out to ALL including former/non-currently registered XM/Sirius receivers.

No way. They can't bill book unless he has agreed to service. Though they will mail out multiple offers for discount service. But not worth it IMO.

Sirius is awesome. I have it mostly for the Jason Ellis show and partly for commercial free music. I have two radios and Internet radio which lets me download shows to my Android phone and then play them later. I don't pay full price for any of them, if you haggle they will give you a deal. Well worth it because the local fm stations around here suck and I farm so I'm in machinery for 14 hours a day during peak season. I put a craven speed short antenna on my truck so I don't even get fm channels anymore. Never listen to fm.

In Canada, they do have a free preview on for anyone. Maybe that's what's going on? I have a sub, but a friend told me there's free preview on.
