Sync in my 2014 Expedition EL was recently updated at the dealer to the 4.6 version. Ford is having a problem with downloads on their website so I had to pay the dealer to do it. Now Siri no longer works. This is very frustrating and I would like to see a fix. Does anyone have it? My Sync Gen 1 - 4.6 update says DR3T-14D544-AE so I imagine the downgrade file is DR3T-14D544-Af. Can anyone help?

You have to delete and re-pair your phone with sync. Here is a link below to the sync 1 v.4.6 that I got from Fords website by using a different trucks vin#. Works fine in my truck and my wife's 14 Escape although we don't use iPhones. Android is our flavor.

Download and unzip the main file ONLY to a thumb drive, do NOT unzip any files inside. LINK

Thanks for this. Unfortunately it doesn't work for my vehicle. I can disconnect and reconnect my phone and siri can hear me initially but after the first time she cannot.I think I need to roll back to 4.4 or Ford needs to come up with a fix for the Gen 1 Sync systems. The dealer updated my system and this was the result.Apparently this is a highly common problem with the latest sync update.

Last update for my version was a while ago, couple years I seem to recall. Not every vehicle has the same version. Check www.owner.ford.com and click support, it should give you a link for sync.
