Never shows me on the road I'm always off in the middle the woods. So I never get proper turn or update. Does anybody else have this trouble

Yup. It was like that when I first bought it. Unplug the battery for 15 minutes or so and hook it back up. I've had to do that twice now. Works every time. Others on here have said the same.

Its the stock navigation system in my 2013. I imagine it's pretty up-to-date

Go to www.syncmyride.com and see if you are up to date.They had a software update for my 13 lariat . If you change tire size it will knock it off of calibration . To reset it just pull negative cable from battery for 15 minutes as prev poster mentioned . HTH

The "navigation" part has nothing to do with Sync. You must pay (and a lot) for updates from Navtec. They got us by the you know what.

Who is we? I have a 2013 Platinum and I wasn't told anything about free map updates. I did check mine against the Ford site and it said it was up to date.

Whenever there's a MyFordTouch software update we get a new SD card with fresh map updates as well.

Thats been my experience. My wife's 2011 Edge was one of the first ford models with the my ford touch system. About 2 years ago they sent us a 2gb usb key for the update and a new SD card with specific instructions on how to update. She's on the same versions my 2014 king ranch is (A4)
