Default Shuddering & Tuners

This is another poll based on the many threads about the shuddering in 6th gear when traveling slight to heavy inclines with the 2011 trucks. If you are using a tuner and you do/do not experience the issue let us know as this will determine if it's an firmware or mechanical issue with the transmissions.

Please help us out to determine if the tuner and the different shift points indeed remedy the situation or no change or worst yet, problem is more exaggerated.

Ford appears to be passing this on as a "Normal Characteristic" of the "Adaptive Learning" built into these transmissions.

I would gladly purchase a tuner to fix Ford's transmission problems. Only to be told that my warranty has been voided due to the tuner.

Uhmm, I think that with all the issues people are seeing and if Ford tries to void a warranty based on a tuner fixing an issue they say is normal I would love to take this to court along with a url to this site for a judge and an attorney to see....

Heck, if my issue isn't fixed I already stated that I WILL take this to the media....

Did you have the shuddering prior to adding the tuner? Also, you are running a Raptor which to my knowledge doesn't have the issue or it hasn't been reported by anyone yet.

In just over 2 years, I only experienced the shudder once.... Scared the hell out of me.... I have been running the superchips tuner since mid-2010 so I'm not sure what is the cause/cure...
