Default Cooper ATR tire pressure

I know these tires have been discontinued, but my truck has a like new set on it right now. They are LT tires, with a max inflation pressure of 50psi. They are aired up to 40psi at the moment. My question is, can I run them at 45 unloaded without uneven tire wear? Stupid question I know, but today while driving through a neighborhood with the windows down (first time since I bought it in Jan that its been warm enough to do this), I can hear the tires making noise as I roll down the road. Also, when on the highway and I let off the gas, like when approaching an offramp, the truck slows down rather quickly on its own with no brake required. My 05 would coast on its own pretty well with no throttle.

I had P rated tires on my old truck, but it would do 17-18 all day long on the highway at 75mph, and that's with 3.73 gears and 4x4 with 5.4L triton motor. My new truck with 3.55s and these LT tires can only pull 16mpg on the highway at 70. Truck is stock, not leveled or lifted, and running in 2wd with a grandpa driving style. I've never owned a vehicle that got better mileage in rural town than on the highway, which is whats happening with this. I'm thinking if I air up to 45, the noise will lessen and it will roll easier?

Default

If you have the newer AT3 model, what pressure do you run them at or is that a higher load range (E?) tire?
