I think I've posted in here a while ago, but here's how my STX sits as of right now.

My boring stock truck but I love it. My first F150. It's a 13 and only had 5,XXX miles on it when I got it last November. Only mods so far are LED interior lights, weather techs and shorty antenna. Gave her a good detail today.

Res4cue and force recon, I see you both have tow mirrors, what connection do we have in the stx? I'm looking to replace my stock mirrors and am having trouble figuring out what I need to buy.

Cluster looks great. Nice vent swap too:thumbsup:
Difficulty on a scale of one to ten ?

Looks great. Did you have to get the truck reprogrammed? If not, is there anything on the cluster that doesn't work? Compass? Do you have a part#?

Racered, its very easy to swap it out. Two 7mm screws on the dash visor, then the cluster bezel pops out, then 4 more 7mm screws and a plug holding the cluster in. Just need to tilt the wheel all the way down and put the column shifter in 1 or 2 for easy access. Removing it is a 5 minute job. Honestly, changing the oil filter is way more of a PITA than changing the gauge cluster.
Also need the steering wheel arrow button pack which you can buy anywhere (eBay/amazon/rockauto). That is also pretty easy to swap out but I needed to watch a YouTube video to know the exact procedure.

I got lucky and found one from a forum member that was a perfect match to my trucks options, so no dealership required. Its from a 2014 truck, my truck is a 2013. Most folks won't get as lucky as I did, so it'll be hit and miss for them. My truck is 2wd/no backup sensors/no trailer brake controller and that's the type of cluster I found. I was fortunate that my seller already knew this information. I have no clue if the clusters are only programmed for one size tank, or if they work with both the 26 and 36 gallon tanks....but my seller told me he had a 26 gal. tank like I do, he used this cluster for his swap before he sold his truck, and he never had any fuel gauge issues so I knew I'd be ok on that. Sometimes the sellers on ebay don't have all this info, so buying one from there is a crapshoot. I got real lucky.
I did notice that the compass doesnt want to show up but everything else works perfect with no errors or weird messages, nothing. You will lose your lifetime MPG reading and will need to start over, but that's no big deal to me. I don't have a part number, sorry.
