Default Replacing the driveshaft

I have been chasing a vibration issue and was suspicious of my driveshaft and/or u joints. I took down the shaft and the fronts were nice and loose but the backs were only a little tight. Definitely not hung up at all. One thing that was concerning was a ding in the aluminum shaft were some road debris must have hit. This would be a good time to take it to the shop to be balanced. Here is my question.......After having a shaft rebalanced does the orientation still matter? Does it have to go back in the way it came out? I plan on hitting the mount on the rear dif and yolk with a wire brush and painting it with a light coat of anti seize. Is that OK to do? Thanks
