Here's an update of my 20011 XLT. Replaced the chrome 6-bar grille with an FX 6-bar sterling gray PTM grille. HD head and taillights. Plasti-dipped the F-150 badges...I plan to remove the Texas Edition badge. Planning on getting Line-X on the bed and on the chrome steps. Maybe seeing about getting the rims powdercoated/painted somehow...thinking gray or black.
did you pull the emblems off, or just mask the truck off and spray while still on the truck?

Here's my 2011 Stirling Grey Platinum Ecoboost. 20" wheels, 5.5' bed, 3.73 rear axle ratio.
Best truck I've ever owned! Best vehicle I've ever owned! Love the color!
Sorry about the strange pictures. The last three were taken for another thread.

The great thing about sterling gray is that it hides dirt well. I had a 2000 platinum (sterling gray) Ranger which ALWAYS looked clean, even though I rarely washed it. I traded it in this week for a 2012 F 150 and of course I got one in sterling gray!
