Default should I be worried about buying an Ecoboost?

I had a 2012 F150 XLT 5.0 that I sold and now regret that decision. Any way I am going to purchase another F150 in the next few days. I stayed away from the Ecoboost 2 years ago because of the condensation problems I was reading about on the forums.
Should I be worried about the Ecoboost now? If it matters I live in NJ where its rainy and humid in the Summer and snowy and freezing in the winter.
I need to figure out which engine to get today or tomorrow.
thanks

I've had my used 2011 since February and so far, love it. Had 25k when I bought it, has 32k now.

I can't make a single complaint except "I need tires soon."

I live in NJ and own an Ecoboost and haven't had any problems. Have I read about and seen people experience issues with the Ecoboost since buying mine? Sure but it didn't stop me from buying one.

I have a 2011 Eco with over 90000 kms on it now. Live in Ontario with the same weather conditions you stated. I have never had the condensation issue.
I wouldn't be worried. In fact, rarely even hear about the issue anymore. Many speculate that much of the "condensation" issue was probably bad plugs and coils.

Central VA here so humidity and high temps are a regular thing. It did not sway me from buying an EB early this year, a leftover dealer demo 2013. Been loving it since. It's been on two decent road trips: Cincinnati in May through WVA and NJ last month and neither time did I experience any issues other than the constant smile on my face.

We're taking it to Maine next month and I'm looking forward to another great trip.

5.0 gets better gas mileage unless you want to drive with a very light foot

Proof?
I watch the mileage threads on here and both engines are all over the place.
