Get Omega tune. One for all octane.

But 5star and MPT are still great options also. Avoid any economy tune no matter who you go with.

Like I posted earlier, the economy tune actually isn’t too bad and is better than stock. Definitely not the per/tow tunes for 87 and 89, but I didn’t expect that.

I wish they made a tuner where you could switch between tunes on the fly!
They do and it's the same device. Only diesels can be changed on the fly.

Can you purchase just the tune? I already have a programmer.

Banks has one you can change on the fly. It doesn't actually reprogram the ECU; it sits in between. I believe it only comes with Bank's tunes though.

If it doesn't reprogram the ECU it's not the same as custom tunes. Banks is well know for it's diesel applications.

Hence the " I believe it only comes with Bank's tunes though." comment in my previous post.

Yes, big name in diesel for many years and they've expanded into this market as well: https://www.bankspower.com/c-84-prod...DBanks%20Power

Can SCT tuners be reset or wiped and are there used ones for sale?

Has anyone used the SCT brand OBDII wireless plug type tuner that you use your cell phone with?
