Should I add Back-up Camera to My Order??

I ordered a FX4 with almost everything minus updated stereo, max tow and a few other options. I ordered in Canada and was wondering if the block heater comes standard?? I can't find it on the build sheet and my main question is.. should I add the back-up camera to my order I thnk I still have the opportunity as the order hasn't been accepted by Ford yet??? is it worth the $500 price tag?? Can i add one later?

I didn't order mine, I found it at a dealer and it happened to have the camera (no nav)

It's brilliant to have for parking. I spend a fair amount of time in the downtown core, and for parking in lots or parallel parking, it makes it so easy.

If I lived in the boonies and never spent anytime in the city, I don't think it would have been worth the $500 if I was ordering new, but for my purposes I'm glad I got it.

I'm sure it's able to be added as an aftermarket, but if you can add it from the factory, I would probably just go that way. If you're planning on doing the stereo, it might be something to look at afterwards, especially if you put in screen.

Mine came standard with the block heater, I live in Vancouver.

if you add it now it will be in rearview, if you add a touchscreen deck later you may be able to add one to that, which i would consider the better option, though the ones in the mirror work good too. Some people like them better since they are in the mirror, where one already looks when backing up, even though they are smaller they still work really good. I have one in my nav screen and i love it but would prefer one in the mirror to not having one at all!

YES, if you plan on doing alot of towing. I don't have a camera and spend countless minutes getting out of truck and back in and back out just so I dont scratch up my bumper and license plate!

The back-up camera on the F-150s is in the bezel with the Ford logo on the tailgate. From that angle, it should give you a pretty good view of what's behind you. On the other hand, that bezel around the logo is about an inch deep so the whole logo sticks out from the tailgate compared to the non-camera bezel. Looks a little goofy to me.
