I think that's what I'm going to do with my dash. Was it hard to get the around the edges without creasing and were can you buy it it? I'm wanting to do my dash in the wrap not my shifter since in case anyone was wondering.

It's not hard, just takes time and you definitely need a heat gun to help stretch material over corners to eliminate creases. Also, around the sharp edges you will want to apply the 3m adhesive primer no. 94, before wrapping to help keep corners from delaminating. I bought a 5 ft by 12in strip off eBay. Just make sure it's real 3m di noc.

That's looks really nice. I'm not sure i could pull of the carbon fiber in my truck though being a king ranch. Do they make it a wood grain pattern? I would like to try this first then spend $50 on a shifter that is probably just going to do the same thing again.

Check out 3m's website, just us google. Look for their di-noc vinyl. They have many different colors and patterns

Wow they have a lot of patterns too chose from. I found one that looks like it matches the rest of the wood grain pretty good.

I have the vinyl now but I can't seem to get the dang shifter handles off. Also can you wrap the vinyl around the back side of the handle so you don't have to cut it so precise?

Yes you can wrap it around behind the covers. I used a flat tip screwdriver at the bottom edge facing the center console to pop the handles off.
