Shifter Lever Ideas
I have a king ranch with the wood grain shifter lever. It's hard to describe but its like the laminating is coming off the lever where it meets the chrome in the center. Can I buy just the wood grain part to put on the lever and if so how do I get them off? Also it looks like the platniums have leather shifters so are those interchangeable?

Yeah, that does look ugly, would drive me nuts too. Apparently quite a few people have complained about it too. Found this for you, enjoy!

I wonder if they just pop off? I would like to buy some leather ones off a platinum mainly because I don't want this happening again. Also does yours feel a little bit loose mainly toward the top?

Searches on google show people say they pop off. Wonder if you could wrap yours in leather, glue it down and snap back on? You might check out www.ranchitout.com. He does custom work.

I have a lariat with wood trim as well. Had the same problem, so I got some 3M di noc vinyl wrap an covered it. Pretty easy to do, just make sure you have a heat gun to help stretch material around/over corners an sides. The trim Pieces are snapped on and can be easily removed by prying at the lower rear edges. Will post a pic as soon as I can.
