shifter handle
hi i am new here and new to the f-150. i just traded in a 2003ford f-350 4x4 diesel superduty on my 2009 f150 stx 4x4. i have the manual transfer case shifter on the floor and i was wondering if the shift handle is threaded or splined? thanks in advance i tried searching but couldnot get a straight answer.

2009 had all the good stuff. An optional proven 4 speed flare sides , 5.5 bed on super cabs, manual transfer cases..... They should have never gotten rid of those options. I love manual hubs and transfer cases.

does any one know if the shifter is threaded or splined on top ? i have a sweet mack bulldog i made a shift handle out of and i would like to put it on my truck thanks.

I wish I could help you about the **** being threaded. I imagine it would be, usually they are. Have you tried twisting it to see if it will come off?

God i would love if my 2010 4x4 lariat had a manuel transfer case, hubs, and FORD NEEDS A MANUEL TRANSMISSION OPTION. I love the luxuries of the lariat but i would KILL for the luxerie of the lariat with a manuel tcase hubs and trabsmission. I feel like although not many were buyin em they would sell enough to make a profit.
