2009 had all the good stuff. An optional proven 4 speed flare sides , 5.5 bed on super cabs, manual transfer cases..... They should have never gotten rid of those options. I love manual hubs and transfer cases.

I wish I had a manual t case in mine. They should always have it as an option at the very least.

I have a 2011 with manual transfer case

I wish I could help you about the **** being threaded. I imagine it would be, usually they are. Have you tried twisting it to see if it will come off?

God i would love if my 2010 4x4 lariat had a manuel transfer case, hubs, and FORD NEEDS A MANUEL TRANSMISSION OPTION. I love the luxuries of the lariat but i would KILL for the luxerie of the lariat with a manuel tcase hubs and trabsmission. I feel like although not many were buyin em they would sell enough to make a profit.

Im 17 and im already deadset im drivin my '10 lariat into the ground and i am eventually no matter what it takes gunna find a way to get a manuel transmission into it
