This is true, however, I've never felt it on the F150. The ABS feels like a quick "drubbing" vibration in my expirience.

I too believe it to be the abs. The noises on mine is best described as the sound of a diving board. It has a medium pitched vibration to it when it happens. Sort of like striking a spring with a hammer and the vibrating noise that is heard after. Only not lasting as long.

It's probably the sway bar linkage my brother had an 08 and I had an 09 it only made a noise when you made a hard turn either left or right but more noticeable on a hard right turn

I have the same problem with my 2007 f150xl. It sounds like it's coming from the front passenger side in a deep turn at slow speed on both directions on mine..tomorrow I'm gonna look at the fender well & hope it's what TuxBlack suggested.Lord knows I hope it's an easy fix.

Dealer just called me and told me that the rubbing noise was the inner liner wall. That they did some minor adjustments and that fixed the problem.

Really? Seriously, that was all too it? I don't recall seeing any marks or anything on the liner when i took a look. I got a feeling they just did not look at it correctly.

Old thread but just noticed mine doing this when I turn all the ways left no matter the speed. Dealer problem or fix myself?

I'd say if you have close to 75 to 100,000 miles on it..it's most likely the front wheel bearings shot. I had the very same thing on my 2007..It like to have drove me crazy trying to find out what it was.I finally I broke down & took it to a machanic..he drove it to a church parking lot so that he could make sharp turns in both directions..He replaced the passenger side Hub & rotor (with new bearings)on mine you have to buy the hub & rotor together.Hub comes with Bearings already installed. It sounded good until I started up the mountain to where I live..& I noticed a little scrubbing as I made curves in a certain direction...so I took it back the next day & he replaced the drivers side..it hasn't made a sound since..& that's been about 3000 miles ago. & as for as being a dealer problem or a fix yourself..if you are a good do it yourselfer..I think the only problem would be having some knowledge about the ABS cable as for as unattaching it & reattaching it.

When you make a sharp, not so fast like rubbing noise while turning. It's like if the tire was rubbing on something. Yet when i look, there is no signs of it touching anything at all. And it only happens on the right front.

It just started doing this a couple of days ago.
Have had the same problem on my 2016 F350 for over a year driving me nuts. Ford dealership while under warranty twice found no solution for me saying they could not replicate the issue. Frustrated I took to another service center and asked them to keep the truck a couple days, take it home. Or whatever until you experience my problem. The next day called and said it happened to him and he knows exactly what it is. The ABS sensor is sending a faulty signal and briefly engaging. Cost me $500 for the find and sensor replacement and it’s the best $500 I spent. No more issues. Tell them to replace your ABS sensor.
