Default Shaking/Vibration in Seat

Hi guys,

I just purchased a new 2011 f150 xlt 2wd scab last week and I am having an issue with my passenger seat shaking quite noticeably. My passengers says that they can even feel it when they sits in it. I don't know if this is something that is common with the trucks as I went from a 2010 Camaro to my f150.

Any info would be appreciated, I actually used the site for researching the trucks before i made my purchase and other than this I couldn't be happier (parking has been interesting but I believe I'm getting the hang of it).

Thanks

I would start by having tire balance checked.

Mine does the same thing when I'm alone. But never had a passenger complain about it.

One of the first things I noticed when I bought my '10 XLT Screw was that the passenger seat shook and bounced with the seat adjusted all of the way back. When I adjusted the seat forward about 2 notches it stopped.

I don't know if this will help you or not.

Mine shakes and squeaks like a hampster on an exercise wheel. Tried adjusting the seat but no joy. Probably going to take it to the dealer...

Yeah wasn't sure if it was caused by the trucks suspension and I just need to get use to it or what.

Mine did the exact same thing a few days ago. It was all the way back. I just had to slide it forward a little and that took care of it. Not sure if it will come back.

I noticed the excessive shake in passenger seat too, no squeaks yet (fingers crossed). I have 2011 FX2 EB Screw.

Same problem here, but once someones in the seat, they say they don't notice anything. My 2010 toyota tacoma did the same thing(last truck I had before this one)
