I guess if you use it for work and are always dirty it will protect the cloth but astetically they look terrible and very loose fitting. Weather techs look great though.

Like I said before, they take time to break in. Thanks for the compliment on the mats.

If you like them, then that's really all that matters. Good job finding them at a significantly cheaper price also. However, personally, I was expecting to see something with a little better fit, especially if they retail for $500. For about $650 retail (I paid about $770 with added custom options), I think the Wet Okole covers are better bang for the buck compared to those Carhartts. But since you didn't want to spend that kind of money, I think you could have done a little better buying a cheaper set elsewhere. Just wish I would have seen this thread a little sooner to get you thinking about other, possibly cheaper, options of similar quality. Although, I've never really seen the Carhartts before so I probably wouldn't have been much help anyway. Anyway, I hope they do a good job protecting your seat and hope you enjoy them.

Not sure if you've seen pics but here are my Wet Okole covers for comparison.

I went with CalTrend NeoSupreme front and rear. They were $380 shipped.

These are Wet Oakley knock offs and for the money I saved they fit and look great.

Those are definitely nicer, I won't argue that. The reason these work so good for me is how dirty I am after work some days. Pipe dope, grease and mud are a few things I work around. If I get a spot in these covers I can pull them off fast and wash them. Another thing is my 11 month old daughter, she could tear up an anvil in a sand pile. I understand they aren't everyone's cup of tea, but I like the tough fabric and durability of them. If they were black I'd be even happier. For me, function beats form in this category.

Heck yeah, I have a few of their pants and coats, indestructible! I even have one of their dog beds as my dog likes to "dig" her bed before she sleeps.

They are made of wetsuit material which is pretty strong and flexible. They also fit tight against the stockers so they don't shift at all.

I also use the Ford/Carhart covers in my F150 Lariat (leather seats).

In fact, I only cover the driver's seat and not even the headrest.

I find the fit to be very good.

The dark gray (I think the color is called gravel) fits in well with the rest of the truck interior.

The front cover is quick and easy to remove and cleans up well in the washing machine.

And just like in your situation, these covers are perfect for what I needed in a seat cover.
