Default Seat belts

I replaced my sliding back window, during the process i unbolted the center shoulder belt. Now im putting it all back together and the seatbelt coil is locked. How do i unlock so it can be re bolted in place?

i had the same problem today. it works just like a ratchet strap. if you look at the inside of the housing you can see the teeth that lock when you pull on the belt. it takes some patience, but if you relax the tension you can push those teeth down and pull a couple clicks at a time. i used some picks, but anything thin should fit. once i pulled enough belt to get it back into place it acted normal again. hope that helps.
