So be it. But ya know, I didn't know the guy I helped pull out of the car and take care of until EMS showed up. So, while you don't think anyone cares you're wrong. A wasted life is a tragedy. And "**** happens" is a 2x4 coming through the window, not purposely turning yourself into a missile.

BTW, I disabled the chime on both my seat belts. But I buckle up when I hit the road, local or distant. I want to see my son grow up.

Live long enough to be a mosey old man. Your supposed to go to an old man's funeral. And dying old doesn't suck. That's how it's supposed to be.

Anything else?

EMS should be declined for people who don't use a seatbelt.

About two years ago I witnessed a rollover accident after a tire blowout where a 14 year old girl was ejected from the vehicle because she wasn't wearing a seatbelt.

She died on the scene face down on hot Arizona pavement while her mother, the driver, survived. Mom was wearing her seatbelt and stayed put in the car.

Just for you I'll make sure to drive extra fast everywhere so all they have to send out is a clean up crew and question. Do you think everyone who uses drugs should be declined EMS? What about people who drink? Or people who do extreme sports? They're putting themselves in a situation which could cause seriously bodily harm? Do they not get EMS cuz they chose to do something dangerous? What about fire fighters and cops or soldiers? Should they by declined by EMS because they chose to do something dangerous that could kill them?

Your examples are ridiculous, seatbelt laws exist for a reason, keeping idiots that don't want to wear them alive.

It's all the same, people choosing to put themselves in dangerous situations, sorry your heads to far up your own *** to realize it. And seatbelt laws are there as a form of taxes. Just like majority of the other road laws. And yes surprisingly i agree with speed limits tho.

Eventually you don't really notice the dinger anymore. And why they are at it invite them over to your house, or mine and tell me how else I should act and what else I should be or shouldn't be doing. His reasons are his reasons. I have many times that I don't wear it. Many things I'm doing that do not require it even in the state of MN. A simple comment like "just wear it" gets the point across. Then some idiot like above says that EMS should be declined...really, then you should have no problem not sending ems away from any accident that happened because of a bad driver, overweight, speeding, ignoring stop signs, etc. And you want no medical help for someone that was at that moment only putting themself in danger, what about the ones that put others in danger. What if this was somebody that ice fishes? You sure as hell don't want to be buckled up on the lake, and shouldn't have your windows up either (which is hard to do when its -20F), driving around fields, pastures, towing something at tractor speed...and I will admit as I have before I don't wear it much. Kenferg1, what would you have answered back about this questioning this guy is getting? Maybe someone wouldn't believe your "I buckle up when I hit the road". Nearly everytime someone asks a question someone has to attack him for it. If its not a sticky, answer the question or ignore it. If their new, correct terminology plays huge in finding the answer one is looking for. Guy posts a truck he traded his ford in on and gets bashed for pages and pages. Wanna know something, I have 2 ford gasser pickups, 1 dodge diesel pickup, 1 chevy pickup, and 1 yamaha mini pickup, the dodge is replacing my '08 f150 for lots of pickup duties.

Lucky644, this rant and rambling is mostly your falt. I just can't stand stupidity like that or the control mentality with others.

My point stands regardless of incoherent stubborn rambling.
