If you don't care about having audible alarms for anything and don't mind loosing your turn signal noise, just yank the speaker off the back of the gauge cluster and be done with it.

If you have your manual, it's in there. It does permanently disable it. Worked on my 05 and on my 13.

It worked on my 2013 lariat, but the stereo is still disabled if seatbelt unbuckled. Have tried it twice and moved on.

I thought the stereo disable was a feature of "My Key." If you set up a my key for the truck, for say, a teen driver, then this is what happens if they don't buckle up. Have you tried it with both keys?

took a couple tries, but it has been quiet for a week now. awesome!

Haha I know a guy that did this with he Taurus. He got stared at when he was buckling and unbuckling it haha he was in a parking lot and people thought he was doing "stuff" if you know what I mean haha
