What are your buying options/prices if you dont mind me asking? For example, stage 3 offers the SCT X4 with 3 5* tunes for around $430 I believe... what options are there buying straight from you?

I started out with 5* tunes never had a complaint about them. Then curiosity got the best of me and I got some mpt tunes to try out. Other than the pesky check engine like from my high flow cats, which can be taken care of with an off road tune, I liked my mpt tunes and have stuck with them. The only thing that might be more convenient would be if I didn't have to change the mpt tune when I want to pull my trailer. How ever at the same time it is nice to hit the tow haul button and it kicks the trans into what seems like a stock tune for trying to sneak around late at night. With all that being said and logging over 35k between the 2, I currently have a mpt performance street tune in my truck and don't plan on changing it any time soon.

I run the 5* 91 octane performance tune exclusively. I just need to get the time to update after adding my Borla and AirRaid intake.
That tune really woke my truck up, and hopefully be even better after the update.

I have MPT and not too happy, bad fuel milage and I get low rpm/pinging (detonation?) under load. Only way I found for it to be perfect is to run 91+ oct on the 87 tune. I haven't contacted them yet, but probably just going to try 5*

Yeah I have that exact same thing with my 87 octane tune as well...but I run my 93 tune and its purring like a kitten. Not sure what the deal is...I've seen some people with 5 star tunes having the same issue. Weird. I'm sure they just take some of the timing out and it should be fine. I still need to change my spark plugs so I'm gunna wait till that's done to call MPT that way I can say that's not the problem when they ask. Not looking forward to the 16 plugs in my 6.2...I need some time to set aside for this project.

Yeah like RNLcomp says, I don't think it's an option from 5*. You might not need to update the tune for your exhaust but maybe for the intake. Isn't it so much better being tuned?!? It's unreal the difference....I went back to stock so I could test a diff tune I got, and while burning the rest of the 87 gas, being stock is AWFUL. Can't wait to load the tune back up!

It's MUCH better being tuned. I always return to stock when I take it to the dealer. Do it at home, then drive 35 miles to dealer. I can't hardly ever wait to get the tune back in. I don't get on it very often, but just normal driving you can tell a huge difference. Seems that the engine runs and pulls a lot easier.

That tow/haul button feature with MPT is why I have stuck with it for so long. Don't know if you remember but back in the 80's-90's I believe it was Nissan came out with a switchable driving mode, one setting was sport, the other touring. That's what the MPT tune equivalent for that switch reminds me of.

As far as mileage goes I've noticed with my 5* tunes the lie-o-meter says higher but if you calculate it out by hand it's the same as my mpt tunes. I also noticed that with my 5* tunes that the speedo has been as much as 7% fast even after giving them my axle ration and specific tire size. It can be fixed if you want to take the time to find the right Rev per mile. With my mpt tunes tunes my mileage odometer wise has been more accurate according to GPS and my lie-o-meter has been more accurate to my hand calculations.
