Either. They do the same job. Just get what you can afford.

How do you like your tuner worth the money?

I just bought the X4 from Franchi Motorsports on here via group buy. The price was right. However, I've been at work since it came in and haven't had a chance to do the install yet.

Well I have an Ecoboost so it's a little tough to compare for you, but it was hands down the best thing I've bought for power upgrades on my truck. But it makes the EB a monster because of the forced induction. With the naturally aspirated 5.0 it won't make as big a difference but it will make a difference.

A tune literally is just a computer file so its gonna be the same regardless of which model you use to upload it to the truck.

X4 has guages though that can monitor your air/fuel, boost ( if applicable ), ect ect which is the main advantage of the X4 over the prior model. Plus it's a good bit faster to upload tunes.

Either one will do you well though.

I think I can speak for most 5.0 owners and say the difference is night and day. It was the reason I ended up getting one myself.
