Default SCT Tuner Install - WOW

Hi there,

Just wanted to add something here for anyone on the fence about their SCT Tuner purchase. Just received mine today, plugged in the 87 Perf. tune on my 5.0L and WOW. It's a new truck. Seriously a great improvement over stock with shifting and acceleration. This was a custom tune as well, not canned.

Can't wait for the tank to run dry and go 91 octane. I highly recommend this tuner and Mike was great for customer service

Jon

Yep, I feel the same way with my tunes from Mike. You'll love the 91 tune BTW. Turns the truck into a completely different animal. Even the 87 tune can get my Duratrac's to squeal off the line and a little on the the 1-2 shift.

The SCT is getting a lot of good reviews! I'm on the fence between the SCT and the EDGE. 2010 Screw 4.6/3v w/ 78K miles and time to get the shifting fixed since Ford will not. I also put on larger tires and the computer says my mileage went down about 3 mpg. Not looking for a hot rod, only to recalibrate the speedometer, get my mpg back and get a smoother shift. Not seeing much about programmers for the 4.6L/3v.Anyone running a tuner on the 4.6L/3v?

Contact Mike at 5 start tuning! I have an SCT with custom tunes from him and it's night and day on my 2010 4.6 3V. Shifting much improved and I run a 93 tune.

You won't be disappointed.

Im running the canned Sct tunes on my 5.4 3v. Wish I would have got custom tunes right out the gate, oh well. One step at a time.
