Default SCT Programmers

Are SCT Programmers worth the money? I have a 2" leveling kit up front with a 3" block in the back and 295/70R17 Nitto Trail Grappler tire. I also pull a 16 foot enclosed trailer with racing karts and gear on the weekends. I want my speedometer fixed, more power, and a little better fuel economy?

Interested in some more input too. I have a similar setup to yours and am considering getting an AFE intake and custom tunes. Wondering if it's worth the $$$$ though. I would like my speedometer fixed and get the shifting adjusted for the difference these tires have made.

Tunes, either preloaded or custom, will be a noticable difference on the truck. Will correct for the larger tires so speedo is correct and regain the power lost by the larger rolling mass. A 5.0 will get 15 horses to the wheels and 30 feet of torque and ecoboost is 51 horses to the wheels and 108 feet of torque. Pm me any questions, glad to help!

happen to know the supposed gains for a 5.4L? I'm guessing 3hp, 7 lbs-ft. lol.

The 5.4 is 22 horses to the wheels and 20 feet of torque. Assuming stock engine

You can also check any Ford vehicle power gains with the comparability tab on my website, www.franchimotorsports.com. Enter your year, model, and engine to see

okay cool. is that still on 87 octane? I have a catback and will probably end up with a new intake soon, so I may tune it for 93 and see how much timing we can throw at it

I have a 5.4 with a 2" level 3" rear with 305/55/20 Trail Grapplers and run my 93 octane tune...granted its a bit more at the pump but better fuel economy and lots of juice!

They are great out of the box, but even better with custom tuning.
