Default screech from wheel??

so I had a weird scratching, screeching noise coming from one of my wheels. Thinking I needed brakes or I had a jacked up rotor I brought my truck to ford. I received news from them later in the day that nothing was wrong??? The noise is very loud and I had numerous people telling me they could hear it. They say that they drove it and even took the wheels off and inspected the brakes but saw nothing wrong.. This is a dealership I have never gone to before and have no experience with them (mount Pocono).. Anyone have any insight on this?

Could be a rock or some gravel in the brake pad.

Also could be a defective IWE on one side since you are a 4x4. Should be able to hear it at slow speeds standing outside the vehicle with someone slowly rolling by.

The main time I hear it is when coming from a stop and slowly rolling.. not when touching the breaks

Is your backing plate touching your rotor?

I get that sound first thing when I go to drive it, I think my rear calipers are sticking a bit, noise goes away when I usually get to the end of my street

Hi wags259,

Can you hear it every time you come to a stop or slowly roll? If so, I'd head back to the dealer, and take your tech on a test drive. Demonstrating it for them will help in diagnosing the issue. Additionally, let's get this on the radar of your regional customer service manager. PM me your full name, best daytime phone number, VIN, current mileage, and servicing dealership; I'll take it from there.

If it is the IWE it has NOTHING TO DO WITH THE BRAKES...you will hear it while slow rolling
