Hmm...Add bumper guard strips there on both sides. 1) to cover that spot and 2) you may do it again! lol

Yeah the 2" version of the bumper guard should cover it. If not pay cash for the fix. Don't even mention it to the insurance company because they'll still put a mark against your record even if you don't claim it. So if you had a small fender bender down the road they can screw you over worse because of the 1st mark on your record.

1. I will NEVER do THAT again! I may do something else stupid, but not that!
2. Gonna spend the $$ to fix it good as new. Truck is too nice not to be fixed right.

You can probably get that fixed for cheap. Doesn't look like you need the new black piece on top unless your real picky

damn that sucks. ive always worried about doing this. if it makes you feel any better ive definitely seen worse from jackknifed trailers... i also would have cried a little lol
