Scary experience Saturday... vehicle not driveable

I'm curious to know what gear ratio rear end this is and if its an electronic locker also. I also have a 2012 with 3.73 elocker and have been back and forth to the dealer a few times with a popping sound that they can't seem to "duplicate". They did the TSB's on the driveshaft and one at the rear end flange but I still have the pop. After I brought the truck home from its last visit to the dealer I crawled under to take a look myself. I didn't notice anything out of place but I did notice the that the front of the pumpkin was quite warm. Warm enough to go Hmmm. It was about a 10 mile ride from the dealer to my house with a top speed of no more than 55 sustained for 5 minutes max. Just looking for some info. Thanks.

It has to be Pinion issue. 8400 miles on 12 EB with 3.55's, and i have a Pinion leak. A couple guys i work with also have 11-13yr trucks and have noticed dark stains around their Pinions. But mine was a straight leak. Something has to be getting hot or things are truly aligned.

Just an update, it will be 2 weeks Saturday since it happened. Apparently Ford does not have the rear diff assemblies pre-manufactured? I have not had a call from the dealership with any updates or any further calls from Ford Canada.
