The only thing that really infatuates me on the 15's is the interior. Everything else doesn't really excite me. If I'd sprung for a 2014 FX4 or a Lariat instead of an XLT, I probably wouldn't even care about that.

I'm waiting to see if the interior is still nice on the $25k range trucks, of which I haven't seen any yet. Cheapest I've seen locally is $38k range.

And actually, I'm not buying for at least 10 years, so for me it's a moot point. But we all gotta compare what we have to the redesign.

Well the consumers want bells and whistles and you have to pay for it. There is so much newer tech on the 15 compared to previous years. Massage seats, frameless rear slider, double flushed moonroof, BLISS, LED heads and tails, I could go on but you get the picture.

Wha exactly infuriates you? I love the interior I've the last ten interior. Now the inside flows with the outside.

^ This this this this this

I can just about guarantee that if you build a '15 with the same options your '12 has it will maybe be $2k more. And you could blame that on inflation. Don't like the high prices? Don't get a truck with all the bells and whistles. Even the XLT has gone upmarket these days and you can get many more creature comforts.

We have an XLT without MyFordTouch in our showroom right now, it has almost exactly the same equipment as a 2014 XLT plus a few extra niceties like heated seats, and the MSRP is about $600 more. That's moot considering its a brand new model from the ground up. So if you want your basic truck priced the same as a 2014, you have it.

People just expect the world. They want their cake and they want to eat it too, meaning they want their options but don't want to pay for them. It's irrational and stupid.

I don't expect the world, but I won't give up options I already have. MSRP on my 2011 SuperCrew FX4 was $43,555, which included basically every option but a sunroof and navigation. Now, to get something similarly equipped I'm starting at $49,975 for a Lariat with Sport and FX4 packages before I add any other options.

If I had gone w/the '15 I would have to order it as I want to stay w/the Supercab.
When I priced it out it was way more than what the MSRP was on the '14 I bought but to be fair any ordered F150, even a ordered '14 would of had options that this on-lot truck didn't have. This '14 is better equipped than my 10F150 XLT was and the few goodies that I don't have on this '14 aren't that of a big deal to me.

I was shocked though to see a 15 F150 4x4 Supercab (Race Red) at the Dealer on Friday, the dealers here stock 98% Supercrews. When I bought this '14 Supercab and in the Blue Flame Color there was only one other in the entire state that fitted my needs but supercrews there was over 35 XLTs available in Blue Flame.
Ford makes big profits on the top of the line Truck trims and if that is what you want, then go for it. Its great that you can get anything you want or just get the basics or in-between, keeps everyone happy.

Also hate the little motor idea even though this has been in the works for decades - ie; SVO Mustang, early Taurus SHO, etc.

80's Buick designer? You make no sense
