the square wheel wells do not make any sense, and look even more retarded once you throw a lift on it...
old guy I used to work with had a Chevy 2500 with a 6" lift and stock tires... talk about a sh&tty look!

They do make sense from a design standpoint.

Think about it, good, bad, or indifferent everyone here knows who has the squarish wheel wells. Auto makers constantly strive to make their trucks stand out from the rest.

I dig it, what doesn't make sense on our trucks are the wheel wells, the whole truck is angular and then, bam, rounded wheel wells.

Round wheel wells make sense because wheels/tires are round... Putting a round peg into a square hole doesn't make much sense.

Obviously design has escaped you. Lol

I like things that look different and are a little abstract and that's what they do.

Round wheel wells are boring on a truck with so many angular features.

It's funny how many fanbois there are on here.

different design doesn't always mean good design!
in my line of business, trust me, I'm all about people / clients thinking differently (if everyone stuck to what everyone else does, I'd be out of business). But sometimes, you have to call out a ****ty design when you see one, and square wheel wells would fit right in there!

Which is interesting as all trucks seem to be going the direction of the squarish look. I'm not a fan of the fronts on the chevy and GMs.

I like the new 15's as it seems they took design cues from the nicer aspects of trucks in the segment.

Obviously the design works as there are a good amount sold.

And ****ty design is subjective.

I'm not a "fanboi". I'm not brand loyal to any vehicle manufacturer. This is my first Ford, and I love my truck. But when it's time to buy another I will look at all manufacturers and choose what I like best for that particular year. Just like I did in 2010. Plus I'm not even male.
