I agree with you brother - people don't respect other people's things.
And I have to laugh at everyone who gets bent out of shape when you criticize soldiers... everyone thinks they're heroes. Unless you've been there, you have no idea.
I got news for you -they aren't. I spent time at Benning and Drum, plus two overseas tours. The army has plenty of criminals in it.

seems like this is a texas only thread! i know what you meant mortarman. I didn't take it the wrong way. Military attracts youth, and military or not, sometimes youth can be a little careless with their surroundings. That said - i live in Austin (not far from Ft Hood), and it's been windy as hell last few weeks. could be the wind blew the cart into your wife's fusion.
And you don't need to put some many disclaimers in. It doesn't matter if you have a new platty or a beat up junker - taking care of your things is important and you never have to apologize for that.
side note - i think most people would be awestruck if they knew how big Ft. Hood actually was.

I got a shopping car dent in the drivers door or my new fx4. I was in Walmart and parked in the 2nd row from the back. What pisses me off is that it must have been from someone who parked in the very last row. They thought enough of their vehicle to park in the back, but didn't have enough respect for anyone else's vehicle to return their damn cart to the holder. I wouldn't be soo mad about it if I was parked by the door. But I was almost in the very back. I only hope karma pays them back.....

Thank You for your service mortarman120. I know what you are talking about I see your profile says FT Hood. Well to try to clarify a bit. The Killeen area has a tattoo shop on every corner or strip center(seems like). It is not a reflection of the military but as one poster got it right , it is a reflection of those who feed off the military. The area is beautiful but the city itself has room for improvement compared to most Texas cities.

I live in Killeen too and I am Military and I agree 100% with the OP. A lot of the people here are lazy trash who have no respect for others. I saw an ignorant moron just last night at the local Walmart who after putting her purchases in her trunk, proceed to push her shopping cart away and it rolled into someones car! She got in hers and drove off, fat, dumb and happy. So I stand with the OP, I am Military and live in a military town with a lot of lazy trash.

Good to see it carries across all branches. I was stationed in 29palms CA and had the same thoughts about that area as well. Sorry about the car at least it wasn't like a fellow Cpl's car I knew. Parked at the barracks and one of our Sgts backed into it and drove away to the PX. Came back and tried to get back to his room like nothing had happened.
